The need to strengthen intersectoral management in favor of health promotion with a high level of community participation was focused on the debates of promoters, specialists and managers in Guantanamo, who evaluated the work carried out during 2017 in order to change lifestyles.
After the devastation caused by powerful hurricane Irma that affected almost all of Cuba, most hospitals in Havana already have power, said Dr. Reynol García Moreiro, director of Public Health in Havana.
The health services in Guantanamo are guaranteed facing the approaching of powerful hurricane Irma and for that purpose five brigades are ready, which will reinforce the medical attention in areas of difficult access of several municipalities.
