As part of the Cuban medical collaboration that brings hope, health and life throughout the world, more than 3130 people from Guantanamo provide services in 47 countries, said Roilder Romero, Provincial Director of that sector.

The need to strengthen intersectoral management in favor of health promotion with a high level of community participation was focused on the debates of promoters, specialists and managers in Guantanamo, who evaluated the work carried out during 2017 in order to change lifestyles.

After the devastation caused by powerful hurricane Irma that affected almost all of Cuba, most hospitals in Havana already have power, said Dr. Reynol García Moreiro, director of Public Health in Havana.
