Guantánamo – To assess, in the current context, the challenges of Cuban agriculture and the main missions of the ministry of this sector, the Land and Livestock Control Exercise is carried out in the Guantánamo Province.
The objective is to have exact information on the land that is currently in use, and that which is idle, and also on the livestock population, which serves as a tool for the actions that are decided based on compliance with the Food Sovereignty and Security Law.
In order to make decisions, we need to know what we really have. This is a survey that includes a socio-demographic characterization of producers, owners, contracted workers, among other measurable indicators of the livestock sector.
