Guantánamo – After placing flowers at the foot of Mariana Grajales Monument, in the homonymous Plaza de la Revolución in Guantánamo, the young law professionals met this Thursday with the Attorney General of the Republic of Cuba, Yamila Peña Ojeda.

During the meeting, the young prosecutors of the provinces Santiago de Cuba and Guantánamo exchanged the best experiences in the fiscal exercise, and adopted decisions specifically at aimed at improving professional development, political ideological work, as well as the use of technologies and the control of legality, as their main mission.

They also discussed the current situation of the staff in the body, working conditions, legislative challenges, and other issues related to the link between the Attorney General’s Office and society in order to achieve better results.

The Attorney General of the Republic of Cuba, Yamila Peña Ojeda, in her exchange with the young prosecutors also agreed that there is a lack of technological resources, a lack of paper, difficulties with printing, situations with the means of transport, among other problems, but the will is to continue forward.
