Guantanamo.- Engineer José Cuesta Bridón , from the subsidiary enterprise Cervecería Guantánamo , was selected as the first and only direct delegate from the eastern province to attend the Third National Conference of the Association of Innovators and Rationalizers, which will be held next October in Havana City, the capital of the country.
The distinguished worker has a long and commendable career for more than four decades with important contributions to unions and innovation.
Pozo, as he is popularly known, received the vote of his colleagues and a standing ovation for his dedication and passion for extending the useful life of obsolete technological equipment.
With more than 40 years of experience in innovative endeavors, Cuesta Bridón expressed his deep appreciation and honor of representing the province’s ANIR members at this event and his commitment to continue contributing to the national economy and thus confront the economic and financial blockade imposed by the United States government.
This decision is highlighted by the fact that the Cerveceria Guantánamo which belongs to the food industry, has held the ANIR 8 de Octubre Distinction for several consecutive years, for excellence in innovative activity, and it is a national multi-avant-garde center of the Cuban Workers’ Federation.
His career also includes several notable projects that have been awarded for its social impact that has maintained vital, top-tier services in food industry units nationwide.
