Guantanamo.- The Municipal Housing Directorate in Caimanera held its annual balance assembly this Thursday, a meeting in which the participants analyzed the demand for decent housing for citizens.

The meeting reported the achievements, challenges, and future projects in a sector that is crucial for the well-being of the community.

During the past year, the low number of housing units delivered in Caimanera is a deficiency; however, some buildings were achieved thanks to the collaboration of the population and through their own efforts.

During the period, two maintenance and repair projects were carried out in multi-family buildings, including a cistern repair. Additionally, two turbines were donated, one to benefit 32 apartments and the other to four families who were reallocated in replacement housing.

Regarding these work results, Yolenia Oliva Salazar, Deputy Director of Investments in the municipality of Caimanera, reflected that good treatment of the population is essential.
