With the opening of the school year at the University of Guantanamo, the more than nine thousand university students enrolled in 38 careers will start from the classrooms and campus the discussion of the draft of the new Constitution of the Republic of Cuba.
During the process they will assume responsibly, young people will use multimedia tabloids and mobile applications developed by Cinesoft, among other tools that will allow a better internalization of the 224 articles included in the document.
Yanileixi Claro, Ideological of the University Student Federation in the House of Science and Progress, stressed to CMKS Radio Station that all conditions were guaranteed in time to develop meetings with quality, which will extend to the 10 municipal campuses of Higher Education.
Among the possible topics to be discussed are the articles related to education, citizenship, the structure of the assemblies of the Cuban Parliament, private property and the rights, duties and guarantees of citizens, among others.
The referendum that entered Monday in its fourth week in the country will begin its debate at the University of Guantanamo and will also extend to the 766 schools in this province.
With the start of the school year in Guantanamo, students under 16 years old will be able to share their opinions and set out their doubts about the new Constitution of the Republic of Cuba from their classrooms and student brigades, a process that will culminate on November 15th.
