Guantanamo Ratifies in Cuba with the Largest Teacher Coverage

Ceremony graduationWith the graduation of 345 new teachers from the Pedagogical School José Maceo Grajales of Guantanamo, the province is ratified as the territory with the largest teaching coverage in the country.

The recent massive promotion of this center highlighted nationwide for the third time, in addition to guaranteeing the incorporation into various schools in the territory next September, and for the first time it contributes to the Guantanamo educational system 22 new professionals prepared in different profiles of special education.

During the sixth graduation ceremony chaired by Rafael Pérez Fernández, first secretary of the Cuban Communist Party in Guantanamo, the best graduates in teaching, culture, sports, and in the professional practice system were recognized.

They also acknowledged the most outstanding teachers in the training of these young graduates that will make up the teacher staff in this territory, highlighted at the country level for the fourth time.

For her part, the young student, Arialis Velázquez Serrano, specializing in English, the best graduate and winner of the José Martí National Contest and the Marti Youth Seminary, confirmed her commitment to teach with example and being faithful the essence of the teaching as a work of endless love.

The José Maceo Grajales Pedagogical School in the Cuban easternmost province is aimed to raise the quality of the educational process and train teachers with skills that meet the challenges of present days.
