During the summer one hundred Guantanamo educational centers change their constructive image to mark the 66th anniversary of the assault on the Moncada barracks in Santiago de Cuba and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes in Bayamo.
The educational sector has more than three million pesos for the rehabilitation and maintenance of primary schools, day care centers and internal centers, according to CMKS Odalis Gainza, Head of the Provincial Investment Department.
She said in this first stage, they works in the Mártires 12 de Abril, Camilo Cienfuegos and Manuel Sánchez schools in the municipality Manuel Tames, the headquarters of the central activities in the province for the National Rebellion Day.
Also in the localities of Honduras, Argeo Martínez, San Vicente and Tagua, other educational centers will be repaired such as waterproofing roofs, painting, changing wood carpentry for aluminum and sanitary and hydraulic networks, the directive said.
During the summer the Provincial Department of Investments also aims to restore educational centers of the provincial capital including Omar Ranedo Pubillones, Clodomira Acosta, Ivan Rodriguez and others special and vocational facilities to guarantee better comfort for students and teachers in the next school year.
