Guantanamo.- The main attractions of the Cuban Upper East will be shown to national and foreign visitors during the celebration of TURNAT 2024 between September 26 and 29, in which Granma, Santiago de Cuba and Guantánamo will host the main nature tourism event of the archipelago.

Among the main attractions of this edition are visits and tours of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción de Baracoa, the oldest city in Cuba that turns 513 years as a Villa and the Yunque that identifies it, is the unique mountain declared a National Monument.

The Turnat program includes visits to the Duaba camping site, tours of the Alejandro de Humboldt National Park, a World Heritage Site and the most important protected natural area in Cuba; and the Yumurí-Belete tourist trails; the Maisí’s Concha Lighthouse, at the easternmost end of Cuba, and other communities, according to Arlin Alonso Avila, commercial specialist of the Mintur Delegation in Guantánamo.

There will also be a “Jeep Photographic Safari” that will capture the images of everything that happens as part of the TURNAT 2024 catalogue and will promote nature tourism products.
