Guantánamo – The citizen participation radio program Timbre will broadcast this Saturday the recently approved Social Communication Law, which places the human being at the centre of, the spirit of dialogue and understanding, and regulates the Social Communication System that intervenes at the organizational, media and community spheres.
Now the Cuban press has a legal instrument that demands the right to public information and encourages citizen participation in the media agenda.
This new Law recognizes the exercise of advertising for commercial purposes and sponsorship, and contains regulations in public spaces, whether physical or digital, with a public good character.
