Guantánamo – According to the report issued at 4 a.m. this Sunday, by the Command Post of the Institute of Hydraulic Resources, the reservoirs of the eastern territory are at 47.17 percent of their capacity.

The La Yaya reservoir has a capacity of 853,4 26 percent of its capacity, the Jaibo at 49 percent and the Faustino Pérez, the main supplier of the Guantánamo City and regulator of the floods of the Guaso River, is at 92 percent, as it collects more than 24 million cubic meters of the liquid that supplies most of the provincial capital.

The Clotilde dam is at 72.46% capacity with 4.42 cubic hectometers (Hm3), of a capacity of 6.1 Hm3.

Los Asientos is at 100% full capacity with 17.88 Hm3, of a total capacity of 17.5 Hm3. With respect to this reservoir, 40.5 cubic meters are being discharged naturally, from an overflow channel, which, depending on the volume, discharges spontaneously.

Pozo Azul dam is at 92.99% capacity with 13.75 Hm3, of a full capacity of 14.8 Hm3.
