The Closing Gala and Awards Ceremony for the Vocecitas de Cristal Children’s Musical Composition and Performance Competition , held at the Guaso Theater in Guantánamo, was filled with emotional and joyful moments.The jury awarded Performance Awards to contestants Liz Vania Rodríguez Harris, José Alexander Urgellez Núñez, and Jennifer Nobrega Hung. The Mention went to Vanessa Alexandra Rodríguez Castillo.
In the composition category, the third prize went to the song “Polímita”, by Juan Carlos Aliaga Suarez; the second prize went to “Mi Son Majadero,” by Jeanne Denise Megret Brizo; and the first prize went to “Canción Feliz,” by Alba Ana Babastro Noris. Mention went to “Nuestro Ritmo,” by Ada Mirtha Bonfill.
The Guantánamo Guiñol Theater Group was recognized in this award ceremony for its 55th anniversary, Maestro Conrado Monier on his 70 years and the figure of Maestra Antonia Luisa Cabal Salis was also evoked.
The event ended with the singer-song writer Lidis Lamorú, the guest artis at the event, whose concert was enjoyed by both adults and children.
