Guantanamo.- As part of his tour of the country’s municipalities, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and president of the country, arrived today in Las Tunas to visit several sites in the southern territories of Jobabo and Colombia.

The President, accompanied by Roberto Morales Ojeda, member of the Political Bureau and Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the PCC, will hold meetings in Jobabo with the Primero de Enero Cooperative, residents of a neighborhood in transformation and with the Manifiesto de Montecristi agricultural and livestock polytechnic.

In Colombia, where he will make the summary of the visit, he will talk with a prominent producer and with tenants and workers of the local nursing home.

Diaz-Canel will also be accompanied by Osbel Lorenzo Rodríguez, first secretary of the PCC in the province, and Yelenis Tornet Menendez, governor of this territory.
