Guantánamo.- The 36th National Cuban Radio Festival, held in the province of Camagüey from June 3 to 8, 2025, brings together delegates from more than 100 radio stations across the country. This event is considered the most important for Cuban radio broadcasters.
On this time, the festival celebrates excellence in radio production programme, aimed at historical, cultural, and social issues in Cuba.
This Wednesday, the plenary session will discuss and analyze key topics such as: the use of artificial intelligence in radio broadcasting, podcast and content production for digital platforms, and an analysis of the impact of legislation on content production, among others.
Likewise, participants paid tribute to radio professionals who have passed away, but whose legacy will endure for many years to come. Among them was the Guantanamo radio broadcaster Marlene Zalazar, the National Radio Award winner.
