Accompanied by Yoel Pérez García, First Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee in the territory, and the outstanding local innovator Osmel Cosme, the Minister of Transportation learned that the adaptations to create the railroad bus were carried out at the Taller Vanguardia Proletaria, the entity in charge of maintenance, repair, and technical assistance for railway equipment in the province.
Likewise, Rodríguez Dávila, during his tour of the Guantanamo railway central station, inquired about the technical availability of the machinery and cars, as well as the comprehensive service provided to workers and passengers.

He also urged to implement the necessary actions with the support of the Ministry, given the upcoming high-level oversight by the National Assembly of People’s Power.
In this context, the head of the transport sector called in Guantánamo to strengthen measures in order to alleviate the situation faced by the Ómnibus Nacionales y Escolares Base Business Units with regard to the Technical Availability Coefficient of the vehicle fleet, as well as to advance the organization of leased buses and the improvement of national interest roads such as the La Farola Viaduct and the Baracoa-Moa Highway.
