Guantánamo.- In the midst of the complex scenario faced by the country, the highest leadership body of the Party between Congresses convenes its 10th Plenary Session, for July 4 and 5, in which vital issues of the Cuban economy and society, which directly impact the population, will be analyzed.
The fulfillment of the Government Program to correct distortions and boost the economy, and the plan for the stabilization of the National Electro-energy System, are among the most important issues to be discussed.
On the other hand, the evaluation of the cadre policy strategy, approved at the 8th Congress, is part of the agenda, as well as the proposal for the commemorative program for the 100th anniversary of the birth of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.
At the meeting, the Political Bureau will give an account of its work and the main decisions taken at this stage, an indispensable method at the present time.
It will be a propitious occasion to approve the convocation of the 9th Party Congress.
