Guantanamo.- On the occasion of the 71st birth anniversary of Hugo Chávez’s, Cuba recalls his legacy as a leader in the struggle for Latin American integration.
Roberto Morales Ojeda, Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), commemorated the date on his X account and reaffirmed his loyalty to the fraternal ties forged by him and Commander in Chief Fidel Castro.

“We remember him with pride for having had in him Cuba’s best friend,” he said, alluding to the words of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution about the former Venezuelan president.
Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, Minister of Foreign Affairs, emphasized in a message on the same social media platform that Hugo Chávez, with his Bolivarian thinking, transformed Venezuela.
