Guantanamo.- With great enthusiasm and commitment, the municipality of El Salvador, in the province of Guantánamo starts the 2025-2026 cold season campaign. This important event took place in the emblematic Chapala production center, a place that symbolizes the efforts and dedication of the local agricultural community to the well-being and development of agriculture in the territory.

‎‎This campaign aims to plant 1,535.62 hectares of root crops, grains, and vegetables which is an opportunity to strengthen food production in our region.

The event attended by the municipal agricultural delegate and the president of the People’s Council, who reaffirmed their support for this vital initiative for agricultural development.

Magalys Luque Padilla, director of the Agroforestry company, along with her board of directors, as well as Miguel Martínez Fernández, director of the agricultural subsidiary, also attended the ceremony.

This joint effort not only seeks to increase agricultural production but also to promote practices that guarantee food security and economic development for our community.
