Guantanamo.- Healthcare workers and staffs were recognized during the provincial ceremony held on occasion of the Latin American Medicine Day, in the public square of La Máquina, the main town of the municipality of Maisí, in Guantanamo Province.

The ceremony was held in this area as an incentive for achieving the most comprehensive performance in the health sector during 2025.

Some honorees received the Labor Achievement Medal, others the Manuel Fajardo Distinction, while health entities and services were also recognized, especially the Patricio Sierralta Polyclinic in Maisí, for their outstanding work during the year.
