Guantanamo.- The Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba decided that the organization’s 11th Plenum will be held in a single session on Saturday, December 13th, via videoconference, the Granma newspaper reported.

The measure aims to ensure the continued presence of key personnel at the grassroots level, with the purpose of informing, gathering information, and managing solutions to problems that affect the population’s quality of life.

According to the decision, the adjusted schedule will also allow for a reduction in financial and material expenses, in accordance with the country’s economic situation.

The Plenary Session provides a forum for analysis and debate on strategic issues and holding it virtually will facilitate the participation of leaders without disrupting their work in the field.

This meeting is part of the measures adopted by the Party leadership to address current challenges and ensure the continuity of political work throughout the country.
