Guantanamo – Since early this morning, in the central José Martí Park in the city of Guantánamo, the people have been paying posthumous tribute to Captain Yunior Estévez Samón, First Lieutenant Yoandys Rojas Pérez, and Private Ervis Martínez Herrera, sons of this land between rivers, who fell in the line of duty along with 29 other brothers in arms in Venezuela on January 3rd.

Before 7:30 am, students, workers and main authorities accompany the families of their compatriots who died on an internationalist mission, at the Rubén López Sabariego Municipal House of Culture, where initially a patriotic act of revolutionary reaffirmation takes place and later, our people pay a symbolic tribute.

The Cuban people today pay tribute before the burial in the Pantheon of the Fallen in Defense in all provinces.
