“I think it is a great documentary that tells the trajectory of a world leader from a different viewpoint, where he also shows us his most human side,” Gustavo Arias, director of the Cultural Center, told Prensa Latina.Ronny Muñoz, president of the Chilean-Cuban Chamber of Commerce, thanked the directors and producers of the film, for responding to the request to stage it in this country and get to know Fidel Castro much closer and his relationship with his family.
It also presents the revolutionary leader in the difficult moments Cuba has gone through and his commitment to his people, Muñoz said.
According to the filmmakers, the documentary offers a deep and emotional look at the man behind the uniform, the boy from Biran, the law student at the University of Havana, and the devouring reader, a story about which very little is known.
