The sub-league for softball players aged 60 or older, long desired by older players, will be established this Saturday, at 2:00 pm, at the Vitilla field, located at 12 Sur and 2 Oeste , in the Guantanamo City.

This group will start with two teams (mostly members of the six teams that make up the rosters of the Luminarias del Guaso League) and will play on Saturdays, according to the information provided by Rolando Cervera (Gallo), president of the Provincial Council of Sport Clubs.

The constitution of the sub-league will enable the return of several softball players who had abandoned the Luminarias del Guaso League, after the by increasing competitive rivalryin it, plus the inclusion of players under 50 years old, with much better physical conditions.

It will also allow the return to play of several of the members, who, being on the rosters of the current six teams, practically never take the field, due to their lesser offensive and defensive possibilities an aspect that, on many occasions, has been subjective.
