
The diverse, wide-ranging and constructive debate on the cadre politics, the internal life and the ideological work of the Young Communists League (UJC) in Guantanamo, marked the first day of the Provincial Assembly XI Congress, prior to the plenary session of this Thursday, January 18.Some 200 delegates gathered in three commissions dealt with the need for membership to be at the vanguard of society, to prepare to move thinking in favor of transformation in neighborhoods and student and work centers.
The young people exchanged about the search for strategies to meet income plans, achieve mass participation in impact tasks as well as the use of new technologies for the defense of the homeland.
Within the general program, Donna Baños Guerra, Coordinator of Programs and Objectives to address the Economy in the provincial Government, updated those present about how the Ideas, Concepts and Guidelines of the VIII Party Congress have been implemented in the territory.
Within the framework of this assembly, there was also a visit to the Border Brigade, the sale of industrial and food products, as well as an exhibition of typical dishes from each territory.
The Young Communist League in Guantanamo carried out the strengthening process at the grass-root level, which led to a growth of 958 members compared to the previous year.
