Since October 2023, Guantánamo has had the Servisoft Mipyme, the first state-owned MSME in the 
Communications sector in the province, which stands out for over-compliance with the sales, income and salary plan for production workers who exceed the 20 thousand pesos.
This was recognized in the balance of the first 120 days of work since its foundation, results that are due to the expansion of the universe of clients of the business lines, which includes economic actors and natural persons, the leasing of computer equipment and new services such as the implementation of digital signatures.
At the meeting,in order to contribute to the digital transformation process in the country, participants pointed out among the actions to increase services, the possibility of subcontracting students and professors of the Computer Engineering degree at the University of Guantanamo, as well as self-employed workers willing to collaborate in the projects of this MSME.
Lino Zalazar Catá, representative in Guantanamo of the Desoft Computer Applications Company in the country, the sole partner of the Servisoft Mipyme, recognized the work of the group and urged them to overcome obstacles to increase services and income, as well as advance in export projects.
The Mipyme Servisoft group of Guantanamo, one of the only three of its kind in Cuba, is committed to increasing benefits, in favor of better economic results and well-being of workers.
