Guantanamo.- The life and work of Anto Morales as an engraver, a drawer in several magazines and publications, in teaching this technique, and as a cultural promoter in Guantánamo from the local public library, should be more studied and known, like other founding personalities of the local cultural past.

This was highlighted by the art critic Jorge Núñez Motes in the debate on the matter, on the continuation of the lecture program of the 46th edition of the Regino E. Boti Literature and Plastic Arts Contest.

The 46th Boti event is dedicated to the personality of Anto Morales and the engraving, hence the demand for sharing the research work, in the conference room of the Provincial Council of the Plastic Arts (CPAP).

Attendees also insisted on the need to preserve memory as part of the cultural life of the territory.
