Guantanamo – Presided by Yoel Perez Garcia, first secretary of the Party in Guantanamo, the ordinary plenary session of that political structure was held this Saturday, in which were analyzed the main causes and conditions that propitiate illegalities, corruption and indiscipline, among other scourges that damage society.
The maximum political leader emphasized the need to face these problems from the popular control, main task in the neighborhoods and communities where a transformation is not achieved and where the number of damages to patrimony, slaughter of cattle and legal and illegal drugs consumption, among other criminal acts, is growing.
During the work meeting, members of the Party provincial plenary agreed that the social indiscipline confrontation cannot be just one more campaign, it must be a constant and effective task in the face of violations and in many cases the measures taken by inspectors or other members of the competent bodies do not correspond.
Another topic of analysis was related to food production, a task of national security that has shown some improvements since the development of agricultural fairs.
However, there is not enough progress in the application of science, innovation, agricultural extension and the use of animal traction, among other aspects necessary to increase production, a premise in the midst of a complex economic context in which it is necessary to change the way of working and take the analysis scenarios to the farms, together with the producers.
