Aiming to socializing good practices in order to change behavior on the road, the 60th issue of the National Traffic Day began today, to be continued until the 18th this month, under the motto “Amor con seguridad vial”.

Danis Parada Bueno, secretary of the Provincial Road Safety Commission, said that during the week several prophylactic activities are planned, such as control actions at the bus terminal and boarding points located in this city, places with a high passengers gathering.

Exchanges are promoted to emphasize the importance for drivers and pedestrians to know their duties on the road, in order to transform negative behaviors such as disrespecting traffic signs, not carrying a driver’s license and entertaining themselves with cell phones while driving or crossing a street, among other indisciplines.

The provincial traffic day will be a space to give conferences in workplaces, provide solutions to poor road conditions, in addition to honoring drivers with 25 or more accident-free years and rewarding the children winners of the teaching traffic competition for primary and high school students.
