Leandro Martinez Bombalé was ratified as First Secretary of the Municipal Committee of the Young Communist League (UJC) in Caimanera during the assembly development of the Twelfth Base Congress Assembly of the organization.
Under the motto: “Create your happiness”, and with the certainty that young people are the followers of the revolutionary work, the members of the (UJC) discussed issues of vital importance for the functioning of the Organization in the municipality of Caimanera.
Topics such as the Organization´s Work and Internal Life, the Contribution to the country’s economy, the Commitment of Women to Voluntary Military Service as well as the Ideological Challenges for the new generations, occupied the agenda in this plenary session.
The secretary of the Organization Luis Angel Tamayo Imbert talked about the methods applied in his base committee to enhance the work of young people in each activity they carry out.
Yoanna Fuentes Frómeta, alluded to the participation of the young members in the defense activities.
This was a space for debate, where the new generation is committed to improve the internal life, structure and work of the Organization, as well as accompanying and solving the main concerns that children, adolescents and young people have, a maxim that was ratified in the conclusions by the First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) in the municipality Liset Perez Rosario.
