Guantanamo.- The Cuban singer-songwriter Rosa Maria Campo Perez, who is awarded with Youth Teacher of the Hermanos Saiz Association (AHS) and known by her stage name as La Tía Rosa (Aunt Rosa), visits this eastern province invited as guest artist to the 35th edition of the Guantanamo-Baracoa Theater Crusade, and as the protagonist of a program of presentations in cultural institutions of the territory.
During her stay in the province, the composer and also scriptwriter for radio and television programs, Rosa María Campo, interacted with the members of the Colmenita Guantánamo Children’s Theater Company, a group that performed with her in the show entitled: “Aunt Rosa of the Songs”, scheduled for Sunday, February 2 at 10 a.m. at the Guaso Theater in this eastern city.
Likewise, this show reached the Jamaica town in the Guantanamo municipality of Manuel Tames, with the presentation of the teacher Rosa Campo this same Sunday, February 2, starting at 3 p.m. at the Cosmo Cinema, an institution where she shared the stage with members of the Jagüey la Esperanza Sociocultural Project.
The renowned Rosa Campo, author of achildren’s songs such as Amanecer Feliz, Reyes del Son and Chivirico rico, will also be next Monday, February 3 at 10 a.m. in the Palenque community, belonging to the Yateras Municipality, as part of the programming of the 35th Guantánamo-Baracoa Theater Crusade.
