Guantánamo – Banco de Crédito y Comercio (BANDEC) has expanded to five branches in the municipality of Guantánamo its digital waiting room service for cash withdrawals at the teller window, using the Ticket app.
Miguel Ernesto Gutiérrez Alejo, Communication and Marketing Specialist for the Provincial Directorate of BANDEC, reported that the new branches joining the system are branch 8572 in the Caribe neighborhood, branch 8582 in the Rubén López Sabariego neighborhood, branch 8592 in the southern zone, branch 8641 on Carretera, and branch 8621 on Emilio Giró, both located in Calixto García.
He explained that the Ticket platform, downloadable through Cuba Apklis, allows users to register up to three people and wait their turn, which is notified by the app through a text message in their cell phone, indicating the date they can be served at the reserved bank, starting at 11:00 AM.
This digital platform aims to optimize the user experience, facilitating access to financial services and eliminating the long line that characterized previous processes.
With this innovation, it is expected not only to improve customer satisfaction but also to reduce incidents of people reselling appointments and the health problems that affected those who had to conduct transactions in person.
