The Baramar Fishing Enterprise, in Baracoa, progressively achieves good results in its main indicators until the end of August of the current year.
The industry is fulfilling its plan at 125 percent until that date, according to the report presented in the most recent meeting by the commission that handles the agriculture- food program in the Municipal Assembly of People’s Power.
Regarding sales, the figure is 136 percent in physical form, and 99 percent in values, which highlights the systematicity of the offers at agricultural fairs, points of sale, and the approach to different communities with products as machuelo and mojarra.
At the Government Assembly, it was also reported that the Baramar branch’s good results in this period are also a consequence of the expansion of the processing and packaging centre for elvers, thus guaranteeing a quality exportable product.
