The Jardin de Sueños Children’s House opened in the University of Guantanamo, an installation that will help university workers and day course students with the care and attention of their children, included in preschool childhood and those who do not attend daycare.

Guantanamo is distinguished at the national level in the creation of children’s houses throughout the territory, as recognized by Reynaldo Velásquez Zaldívar, first vice minister of Higher Education, upon inaugurating the 26th institution of this type with a capacity for 30 little children.

This alternative will benefit workers and students with little children and subsequently provide educational care to mothers with two or more children from the Río Guaso community, close to the university headquarters.

This place has the characteristics according to the children´s age. It also has new furniture, pantry, play areas, bathroom, a large living room, television, toys and teaching aids made by the teachers and students.
