The CIMEX Guantanamo Branch informs on its institutional Facebook page the schedule for the elimination of fuel cash sale in the province´s gas stations.

From September 1 to October 31, the measure is gradually implemented throughout Cuba, in tune with the banking process that is being carried out in the country to encourage the use of electronic payments.

Clients may use electronic payment such as smart card readers, national and international magnetic cards that operate in the country, prepaid cards, electronic PINs through Transfermovil, rechargeable chip cards, among others.

Currently, prepaid cards are marketed through the Cimex commercial network, which to date has expanded to more than 1,000 establishments, as well as through ETECSA telecommunications agents accredited to the entity.

As for the electronic PIN for fuel payment through Transfermovil payment gateways, an application that has the facility of allowing operations to be carried out without activating mobile data.

The rechargeable chip card has among its advantages the possibility of recharging its balance as many times as necessary, without limits on the amounts.

It also has stability of operation without the need of connectivity and does not require presenting the ownership.

The acquisition of the rechargeable chip card is done free of charge at Fincimex offices throughout the country (in addition to 22 new units in Havana), and for charging and recharging, clients must go to authorized commercial establishments.

In this process, Cimex Corporation has designed an informative program for its clients and training for contact personnel and sales assurance.

New communication products have been incorporated at points of sale with the aim of providing detailed information on the specific use of each means of payment.
