Guantanamo – With the sweetness, talent and tenderness of more than fifty young protagonists of a great Zumbido de Amor on the Guaso Theater stage, concluded the Summer Workshop corresponding to the year 2024 of the Children’s Theater Company Colmenita Guantanamo, led by teacher Xiomara Solis Gomez.
Melodies from the cuban children’s popular songbook, native “changüiseras” sonorities and choreographic performances in Summer Mode distinguished this day, the result of a week-long training period in which teachers and Colmeneros taught the workshop participants singing, dancing and acting classes at the headquarters of this stage ensemble.
During the presentation that became the culmination of Zumbido de Amor Summer Workshop of the Colmenita Guantanamo, 52 children received from their parents their graduation certificate, which was part of the proposals of the cultural sector in the province for the summer season.
From July 1st to 5th, the theater of the Regino Eladio Boti Provincial Public Library, headquarters of the Colmenita Guantanamo, hosted the summer workshop participants and provided a space for extolling Marti’s ideology, as an essential premise of the learning days promoted by this group, together with the art instructor and collaborator of this stage group, Arleidis Gamboa Lopez, provincial president of the Jose Marti Brigade, who was also recognized by his students during the occasion.
