Guantánamo.- The Cuban Baseball Federation announced the list of the U12 pre-selection that will seek a place in the team that will represent us in the World Cup of the category, from July 23 to August 3, in Taina, Taipei, China.
The boys will concentrate in “Sancti Spiritus” from June 9 and will be training hard until July 18. From there, the final group will be selected: 18 players and four coaches who will wear the Cuban colors in the tournament.
The debut will be on July 24 against the host team, a good test to measure the talent and grit of our players.
The pre-selection is well distributed, with representation from almost all provinces. There are four catchers, 13 infielders, seven outfielders and seven pitchers.
