The Cuban Film Institute and the Cinematheque of Cuba announced that the 6th edition of the Summer Film Festival would open its doors on coming Thursday, July 6.
As many as 132 films, devided into 18 themes that include horror, musicals, and erotic films, among other proposals, will be screened during this year’s edition.
Alejandro Gil’s film “AM-PM” (2022) will be premiered at Charles Chaplin movie theater in Havana during the first part of the Festival.
Regarding Spanish-Cuban film “El mundo de Nelsito” (Little Nelson’s World) (2022), by renowned filmmaker Fernando Pérez, will be screened in August during the second stage of this event.
