Cuban singer-songwriter Israel Rojas call to participate in the Summit of the Peoples, parallel to the upcoming Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) and the European Union (EU) in Brussels.
“I invite all those people who love peace, justice, democracy, love, unity among human beings, to participate,” the director of the Buena Fe group said in a message on YouTube, in reference to the meeting of social organizations and political movements that will be held at the same time as the Celac-EU meeting on July 17 and 18 in the Belgian capital.
The Celac-EU forum will bring together heads of State and Government and authorities from member countries of both blocs, who are expected to address challenges such as peace, climate change, the promotion of multilateralism, safe migration and mutually beneficial trade agreements.
