The National Assembly of People’s Power (ANPP) held a day of analysis and discussion of proposed opinions corresponding to several bills, through a videoconference that brought together deputies from all over the country from the National Capitol, headquarters of the Cuban parliament.
Led by Esteban Lazo Hernández, president of the ANPP, the session took place this Thursday, in accordance with the previously approved legislative schedule, with the active participation of the parliamentary committees from their respective locations, in accordance with the current measures.
Among the main topics discussed were important legal initiatives such as the Labor Code, the Agricultural and Forestry Land Law, and the Housing Law, all currently under review. Proposals related to the Organization of the Central State Administration and the Personal Identity and Domicile System were also reviewed.
This virtual meeting reflects the commitment of the Cuban parliament to advance in updating the national legal framework, through regulations that respond to the current needs and realities of the country.
