The political-cultural evening to commemorate the 177th birth anniversary of Major General of the Cuban Liberator Army Serafin Sanchez will be held coming Saturday in this central city.
The tribute will be paid on the nowadays museum, then birthplace of the famous patriot, a house built between 1825 and 1830, where on July 2, 1846 was born Sanchez, the man who would later participate in the three wars of independence of the 19th century against Spanish colonialism.
