Guantanamo.- The Danza Fragmentada company and its guests, Danza Libre and the Catauro acting group, performed the Espacio Interior Improntus concert program celebrating Valentine’s Day, a tradition worldwide every February 14th that honors the value love, friends, and the importance of sharing moments together.

At the company’s headquarters, the audience appreciated works Volverás, Esta Tarde vi llover, and Guajira, among other choreographies, performed by the dancers of Danza Fragmentada.

These performances showcased the diversity, strength, expressive freedom and interpretation of generations of choreographers and dancers associated with this emblematic Guantánamo-based company, founded in 1993.

The Danza Libre company presented a performance that, like Fragmentada, includes students from the Alfredo Velázquez Carcasés Professional Dance School in its dance troupe. Meanwhile, the young members from Catauro performed reflective stories and poems about their contemporary world and the noblest human feelings.

The company Danza Fragmentada, founded by the dancer and choreographer Ladislao Navarro Tomasén, has maintained since its beginnings the Espacio Interior Improntus del Cuerpo, a regular performance on Thursdays for dancers and choreographers to experience the unfathomable world of creation, under the contemplation of dance lovers.
