Guantanamo.- Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, along with Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz, arrived in Guantánamo to see first-hand about the progress of recovery in the territory.
The president exchanged opinions with the people of San Antonio del Sur, where he inquired about the progress of the recovery of vital services. He spoke with residents about the experience of the hurricane and confirmed to everyone that the State and the Government, along with the Cuban people, are committed to recovery.

Díaz-Canel is accompanied by several ministers and officials from Central State Administration Agencies, as well as by the main authorities of the province, who are checking on the ground the most efficient and agile ways to resolve the problems caused by the Hurricane Oscar and ensure vital assistance for the victims and the Guantanamo population.
