Guantanamo.- In the mountains between the history and coffee plantation is the Bayate People’s Council, in the El Salvador Municipality, in Guantanamo Province. The 2024-2025 coffee harvest will officially begin there on Friday, September 27.

The managers of the Agroforestry Enterprise of El Salvador announced the coffee harvest, with the objective to achieve greater efficiency and quality in the collection of the aromatic grain, where producers, families and the entire town join to work in the fields and contribute to produce a better yield.

According to statements by Magalis Luque Padilla, director of the Agroforestry Enterprise of El Salvador, in this harvest it is expected to collect 440 tons of coffee. The director also specified that all the inputs are ready, as well as the eighteen processing plants, adding one more in the Pibalo Community.

Under the motto: “For coffee: pride of our mountains!”, El Salvador people will meet this Friday 27th, in Los Pinos starting at ten in the morning for a cultural political act to demonstrate their support for one of the fundamental economic activities of the territory.

Once again, the people who live in the heart of Plan Turquino will enter the fields to collect a grain that strengthens the Cuban economy and with Candido Fabré, who is invited to the party, they will be able to say neighbor, now there is coffee.
