Guantanamo.- The recovery of the Public Health sector in Guantánamo after the passage of Hurricane Oscar was the central theme of the En Frecuencia con el Pueblo radio broadcast this Saturday, which is on air for an indefinite period every Saturday, at 1:30 p.m., by the radio station CMKS Trinchera Antiimperialista, under the direction of Yoel Pérez García, president of the Provincial Defense Council of Guantánamo, and the prestigious journalist Martha Reyes Noa.
The top political leader in the eastern territory pointed out that the workers in the Health sector have many anecdotes and experiences of how they recover from the cyclone in record time and maintain vital services to the population in the midst of adverse conditions.
He also stressed that in the healthcare institutions there are many anonymous heroes, who safeguarded with the support of the people the healthcare infrastructure damaged by the floods and strong winds of the dangerous hydrometeorological phenomenon, and demonstrated that Guantánamo Rises because Together We Can Do More.
