Guantanamo.- Despite the lack of resources in the midst of the country’s complex economic panorama, the territorial Division of the Cuban Telecommunications Enterprise (ETECSA), in Guantanamo, adopts alternatives to continue the improvement and expansion of the network, in favor of better services.

With this motivation, the technical staff installed around 300 new basic telephone lines this year in the neighborhoods Sur Hospital and Sur Isleta, reported engineer Lenin Azin Ordúñez, Head of the Investment Department in the entity.

He pointed out that in the Sur-Isleta district, a large investment process in the field of the fixed network was completed, with the assembly of two equipments and the completion of the outdoor plant to benefit 1,600 families and they have already marketed some 188 services.
