Guantanamo.- Training in Guantánamo is established as a pathway to personal and professional development through the Women and Family Guidance Centers. Therefore, the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC) establishes a network of practical courses that turn skills into real opportunities.

Approximately 800 people receive training in various areas, including cooking, massage, general administration, hairdressing, and barbering.

These programs, which last two to three months, are designed to include separated youth, homemakers, self-employed workers, or other person interested in learning and developing skills for future employment.

Upon completion, each graduate receives a legally recognized certificate, allowing them to practice their specialty throughout the country.

With affordable tuition between 150 and 225 Cuban pesos, the training courses become effective tools for personal and community empowerment. Municipalities such as Imías and Caimanera stand out for their high number of applicants registered, while other areas still require further support.

The Federation of Cuban Women (FMC) in the province offers new growth opportunities; although it does not guarantee job offers, it does allow a community growth.
