Infielders Pedro Pablo Revilla Leyva and Andrés De La Cruz, together with the pitchers Luis Miguel Romero, Onelki García and Yeudis Reyes were called with a view to forming the teams that will represent Cuba in upcoming international commitments.

Revilla and the three pitchers are part of the preselection for the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games, scheduled for October 21 to 27 in the Chilean capital, and the Caribbean Cup that will take place in Puerto Rico, while the “Caciquito” will be in Mexico, in

the first version of the Champions League as reinforcement of the Granma team.

According to Jit, the National Baseball Commission announced at a press conference the pre-selection for the Pan American Games and reported the intention to form a cast with three catchers, seven infielders, four outfielders and 10 pitchers.

Training will begin on September 4 at the Latin American Stadium from the 11th to the 13th of that month.
