Guananamo.- A proof of the efficiency of the academic training and professional development process is the teaching accreditation of the Nursing degree and more than a dozen postgraduate specialties during the current academic year at the Guantanamo’s University of Medical Sciences.
This evaluation process is certified by prestigious corporate bodies and in turn becomes an important achievement for the institution that trains hundreds of professionals every year, highlights Yoasmi Creach Armiñán, Academic Vice-Rector at the university.
She adds that they work together with the largest hospital center in the territory, where they plan to accredit in May the specialties of Natural and Traditional Medicine (MNT), Internal Medicine, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Imaging and Maxillofacial Medicine, while another six, such as Nephrology and Urology, will be in a second stage.
The Doctor of Sciences and specialist in Ophthalmology also explained that the University of Medical Sciences also meets the conditions for the reaccreditation of the Medicine and Stomatology careers.
The academic training of students, the professional development of the faculty, the infrastructure and curriculum are measurable requirements to validate the teaching accreditation in the renowned Guantanamo’s University of Medical Sciences, a process that concludes this year.
