Guantanamo.- The Cuba Cooperation France (CubaCoop) association announced the shipment of a third container of powdered milk to the island, which is expected to arrive in early 2026.

In a statement to Prensa Latina, the organization, which has provided economic support to Cuba for three decades, specified that the shipment will benefit the Juan Manuel Márquez Pediatric Hospital in Havana.

The project aims to support the Caribbean nation in a sector as sensitive as food, which has been particularly hard hit by the economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed by the United States, a policy we denounce and condemn, CubaCoop President Manuel Pascual emphasized.

He also noted that the appeal for donations remains active and expressed gratitude for the contributions made by entities and individuals in France; and in the specific case of this container with 10 tons of powdered milk, he acknowledged the participation of the City of Paris.

According to Pascual, CubaCoop is also preparing to send a shipment that includes two Renault Kangoo vehicles, medical supplies, and essential goods, the latter destined for recovery efforts and aid for victims in eastern Cuba, which was devastated by Hurricane Melissa in late October.

He highlighted the contributions of the municipality of Villejuif and the French Popular Relief organization in this operation.
