Guantánamo.- Guantánamo Province is contributing to the achievement of the computerization of society, one of the prioritized Country Programme, which is aimed at supporting electronic commerce, online interactions between institutions and citizens, as well as facilitating procedures in different spheres.
As a result of the actions in which several entities such as the Ministry of Communications intervene, educational centers and health institutions benefit from the digitalization of some processes and services, which favors the teaching process and assistance to patients.
In addition, the use of the Transfermovil and Enzona platforms allows online purchases, payment of benefits, money transfers and, through the Mitransfer Boulevard billed products and services in more than four hundred business establishments in the province.
On the other hand, online payment is currently being promoted in commercial units such as the Panadería Especial and the agricultural market, both located on Los Maceo Street and Emilio Giró Street, the CIMEX stores, among other centers that offer products and services to users.
The digitalization of the Civil Registries in the Guantánamo Province also stands out in the process to computerize society, which allows the request for registrations and other documents online, through the Ministry of Justice website to speed up the procedures in these institutions of high demand by citizens.
